The coastal area boasts a stunning trail that meanders around three beaches, each more breathtaking than the last. Of the trio, the second beach stands out as a true gem, with its pristine sands and picturesque surroundings. It's a definite must-see for anyone looking to soak up some natural beauty and bask in the splendor of the great outdoors.
One of the most delightful beaches we encountered during our Seychelles adventure was this gem! Our journey to this beach was on two wheels, as we rode in from the Main Street in La Digue. Upon arrival, we parked our bikes near a restaurant where we noticed other bikes parked as well. As we began our exploration of Grande Anse, we were struck by its stunning beauty, but also by its powerful currents and waves. However, we were determined to continue our trek and followed the white arrows to avoid getting lost in the woods. Luckily, it only took us less than 10 minutes to reach our destination. And what a destination it was! This beach was simply wonderful, with occasional strong currents that added to the thrill of jumping in and enjoying the waves. We also enjoyed the beach bar, which offered an array of delicious juices. We highly recommend visiting this beach during your Seychelles travels. Trust us, it's a must-see!
This idyllic coastal destination is truly remarkable. A short and leisurely stroll of just 15 minutes will transport you to a veritable paradise. The best part? You don't even need to don cumbersome walking shoes, as we effortlessly made our way there wearing nothing but flip flops.
The stunning shoreline of La Digue boasts a picturesque beach that can be conveniently accessed from Grand Anse beach within a leisurely stroll of 5-10 minutes. However, due to the presence of significant waves and powerful currents, the beach is not ideal for swimming activities. Nevertheless, visitors can seek refuge from the sun's rays under the shade of large boulders situated at the beach's far end.
This beach in Seychelles is truly a gem! We found it even more appealing than Grande Ans. The beach has charming palm leaf tents that provide a perfect escape from the sun. It's recommended to arrive early in the morning to secure one of these tents, but keep in mind that purchasing a coconut for 100 scr is required. We spent an entire day here and enjoyed watching the November swimmers ride the waves, although it may not be suitable for children. The waves here are less intense than those at Grande Ans.
