Praia da Escadinha is located on the North Atlantic Ocean (part of Atlantic ocean) and it is in the 64th place out of 84 beaches in the Lisbon Area region 44.3 km away from its center, the city of Lisbon. It is one of the beaches of Charneca settlement, just 1.2 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place, surrounded by the cliffs.

It is a spacious coastline with crystal blue water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is almost deserted place even during the high season.

Praia não vigiada com extenso areal. É de difícil acesso uma vez que é necessário descer pela arriba escarpada. Apta para quem gosta de naturismo uma vez que é muito pouco frequentada. A cobertura de redes móveis no areal é praticamente nula.

Uma praia espetacular, quase sem vento e com um areal extenço, com muito pouca gente tambem. No entanto tem um grande problema, éque para cadeiras de rodas, é impossivel lá chegar, pois a praia apenas está acessivel atravéz de um caminho que se desce pela arriba, ou entam, vindo por cimas das rochas atravez da praia ao lado quando a maré está baixa.

É uma Praia Oceânica (oceano atlântico) situada perto da Ericeira — no concelho de Mafra, estrada para Torres Vedras. A Praia das Escadinhas apresenta um areal muito longo, situado na base de uma falésia bastante alta e escarpada. Em termos de dimensão e conhecimento do público em geral, esta praia é sem dúvida, o maior segredo no litoral do concelho de Mafra. O acesso ao topo da falésia é conseguido se seguir pela estrada nacional 247 em direção a Torres Vedras, junto do povoado da Charneca, Barril, virando na Rua da Estalagem. Após cerca de 100 metros, virar de novo à direita na Rua Praia das Escadinhas até encontrar o caminho de terra batida e seguindo em direção ao mar. Para frequentar o areal, é fortemente recomendado o acesso por mar com recurso a uma embarcação pela Praia da Calada a Sul, durante a maré baixa. Isto porque como podem ver no vídeo que aqui publico, o acesso tinha as escadinhas que lhe dão o nome mas estão em mau estado e sem segurança para descer até á praia. A praia é uma maravilha e um pequeno paraíso para muito poucos. Pode ser para si ,...se tiver um barco.🙂🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
