The beach is truly a sight to behold, with its stunning beauty and serene atmosphere. However, it is important to note that the parking lot has unfortunately been plagued with incidents of theft, particularly targeting car catalytic converters and other valuables. Despite this setback, the beach remains a wonderful destination for those seeking a peaceful and picturesque escape.
The beach is absolutely splendid with a breathtaking view and is well-secured by the surrounding rocks. The park is conveniently located in close proximity to the beach and offers a range of dining options, including a restaurant and coffee shop.
Back in 1993, I had my first surfing experience at this beach. Unfortunately, it turned out to be quite a harrowing experience as we were caught in strong rips and almost drowned. It is important to exercise caution and be aware of the potential dangers when venturing into the waters here.
This charming beach is perfect for families and is conveniently located on the surf route. While it may not be as dependable as Ribeira to the South, it is still a stunning spot. The beach is well-maintained and features a cafe/bar, as well as easy access to the sand. Restrooms are conveniently located next to the bar, and children will enjoy feeding the nearby ducks. The beach also offers free umbrella grass shades, which are more plentiful and better situated closer to the sea than those found at Ribeira.
Nestled close to Ericeira lies a serene and tranquil beach that is a true gem. This idyllic spot boasts a fabulous bar that serves a variety of scrumptious food and refreshing drinks. It is a well-known hangout spot for surfers, as it is part of the first world surf reserve. The Atlantic sea offers a chilly, but exhilarating experience with its waves, making it an absolute must-visit destination.
