Hermosa Beach is located on the Pacific ocean and it is in the 4th place out of 29 beaches in the Rivas region 26.1 km away from its center, the city of Rivas. It is one of the beaches of Escamequita settlement, just 3.3 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains.

It is a long lasting coastline with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

Hermosa Beach coast is free for all. This beach has the following amenities, beach restaurant, changing rooms, showers, toilets. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.

Please note, that this shore has a significant low tide.

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities.

Fans of active recreation can take part in beach volleyball.

This beach is easily accessible, it is located very close to road. Parking is located directly on the beach.

This beach is an ideal spot for both surfing and swimming enthusiasts. The beach is beautifully set up with comfortable cabanas that are serviced to cater to all your needs. We were pleasantly surprised to find that each cabana was equipped with lights and outlets, making it a perfect spot for a day-long excursion. The morning was peaceful and serene, and as the day progressed, the beach came alive with dance music. The service was top-notch, and the food was simply amazing, especially the daily special of dorado, which came with a drink and was priced at just $10. I highly recommend this beach for anyone looking for a half-day trip near SJDS. However, the drive to the beach can be a little challenging, and I would suggest having a 4x4 vehicle for the journey.

I absolutely adore spending my day at this particular beach in Nica. The atmosphere is laid-back and relaxed, with a charming little hotel and restaurant serving up delicious food and beverages. The waves are perfect for novice surfers who are eager to learn and improve their skills. This beach is definitely one of my top picks!

The beach is absolutely delightful with a serene private road leading to it. The beach spans across 2 kilometers and is home to a plethora of pelicans. However, the service can be quite sluggish as our lunch order took over 2 hours to arrive. The entrance fee is $3 per person, but it's worth every penny to enjoy the breathtaking sandy beach.
