El Remanzo Beach is located on the Pacific ocean and it is in the 11th place out of 29 beaches in the Rivas region 24.3 km away from its center, the city of Rivas. It is one of the beaches of Escamequita settlement, just 5.2 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains.

It is a spacious bay with crystal turquoise water and light sand & pebble cover, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

El Remanzo Beach coast is free for all. This beach has the following amenities, beach restaurant, changing rooms, showers, toilets. .

Please note, that this shore has a significant low tide.

This stunning beach is an ideal location to experience exhilarating surfing lessons that come at an affordable price. If you find yourself in SJDS, make sure to add this beach to your itinerary for a memorable experience. However, it is not recommended to spend the night here.

This beach is truly a sight to behold, with its stunning scenery and convenient access for swimming. The bars and restaurants offer delectable treats that will satisfy your cravings while you soak up the sun. However, it's advisable to depart before dusk as the sand flies can become quite bothersome.

This beach is truly stunning! The temperature is just right and the cleanliness is impeccable. Although the road leading to it is unpaved, it is easily accessible with any type of vehicle. If you're in San Juan, you can even arrange a shuttle service for a mere $20 round trip (for up to 4 people). It's an ideal spot for families with young children as the water is perfect for swimming. During high tide, it's also great for beginners to intermediate surfers. There are three restaurants in close proximity to the beach, complete with sun chairs and delicious fast food at reasonable prices. My partner and I enjoyed a scrumptious lunch for just $20! Unfortunately, the bathroom facilities leave a lot to be desired, which is why I'm giving it a 4-star rating.
