El Coco Beach is located on the Pacific ocean and it is in the 4th place out of 29 beaches in the Rivas region 31.3 km away from its center, the city of Rivas. It is one of the beaches of La Flor settlement, just 2.7 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a long lasting coastline with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

The beach was an absolute beauty, with crystal clear waters that were warm and inviting. What's more, there was no entrance fee, making it all the more enjoyable. We were fortunate enough to visit during a quiet period, and only a few people were around. We were treated to a spectacular sight of local kids surfing in the late afternoon, which was truly a sight to behold. However, we were disappointed to find that the only restaurant on the beach was closed. Nonetheless, the beauty of the beach and the serenity it offered made up for it, and we left feeling rejuvenated and refreshed.

Ah, the lovely beach. We indulged in a beverage at the sole seaside watering hole (its name eludes us), which boasted a pool on its doorstep, overlooking the sandy expanse. However, rumor has it that one must pay to take a dip. We didn't bother to inquire, so we remain in the dark. As for parking, we simply left our vehicle on the street near one of the public entryways. Ah, the joys of coastal living.
