Muriwai Beach is truly stunning, with its black and glistening sand. It's a great spot to bring children, as there is ample parking space and washrooms conveniently located nearby. The highlight is the breathtaking view of the big rocks and mountains, where you can even catch a glimpse of some houses. I highly recommend visiting this beach, but remember to prioritize safety by taking care of ourselves. 😊
The beach offers breathtaking views, a stunning atmosphere, and ample space. It is well-equipped with various recreational areas and even features a small river in the center, making it safe for children to swim in.
The beach is really nice with beautiful black/purple sand. There were some small Portuguese man of war jellyfish washed up. The waves were big and rough. The steps up to the top were closed off. There were lifeguards on duty and car parking and toilets available.
The beach is stunning with its black sand, making it perfect for surfing. I saw numerous surfers enjoying the waves. The weather was fantastic, and there were convenient parking facilities available. It's a long, pristine beach without any pollution.
This beach is absolutely breathtaking. The black sand is incredibly soft and doesn't cling to your skin. The views are stunning and it's not overcrowded. The waves are massive and appear quite turbulent. However, if you head further up, there's a designated swimming area where the waves seem smaller and less rough. It's only a 50-minute drive from Auckland CBD, making it a highly recommended destination to visit.
