Sandy Lane beach is located on the Caribbean Sea (part of South Atlantic Ocean) and it is in the 15th place out of 42 beaches in the Barbados region 8.7 km away from its center, the city of Bridgetown. It is one of the beaches of Holetown settlement, just 1.3 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a spacious coastline with crystal turquoise water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, families with children, seniors etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Sandy Lane beach shoreline is completely occupied by the hotels. The beach facilities are only available to hotel guests. Their list includes, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, changing rooms, showers, toilets. Daily boat rental service is located nearby. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities, sup-surfing. There are also some surf spots.

I was absolutely blown away by the stunning beauty of this beach - it's easily the most gorgeous one I've ever had the pleasure of visiting! However, getting there can be a bit of a challenge, as it's not exactly easy to access. You can't just stroll straight down to the shore - instead, you'll need to head south past the Sandy Lane hotel and look for the entrance next to ONE Sandy Lane. But trust me, the effort is well worth it!

My family prefers this beach as an alternative to the bustling Accra beach. Although it may lack the convenience of having a Chefette nearby, it offers a serene and peaceful atmosphere compared to other crowded resort beaches.

This beach might be considered stunning by some, but it's not all it's cracked up to be. Sure, it's quiet and peaceful, but that's only because hardly anyone bothers to visit. The sand is golden, but it's not like you can do much with it. And while it may be clean, it's still just a beach. The sea might be calm and warm in January, but who wants to swim in the middle of winter anyway? Overall, this beach is nothing special.
