I've visited this beach multiple times and it's a great spot to relax with my family. The beach offers restroom facilities, a restaurant, and the option to rent chairs and umbrellas. In the morning, there's plenty of shade from the trees. If you head south, you'll discover an abundance of sand and other enjoyable features.
Sandy beach is simply beautiful, without being overly crowded.
Batts Rock beach is a serene and peaceful beach that offers a great opportunity for early morning skinny dipping. It used to be a popular spot for gay cruising in the late evenings during the 90s, but it still maintains its secluded charm. Although the abandoned Four Seasons hotel, which was left unfinished during construction, is an eyesore, it has never posed any danger to visitors. The beach boasts of golden sand and calm waters, with a reef that is visible during low tide.
Batts Rock, located near the Cave Hill turn and below the Walmer Lodge Apartments, is a fantastic local beach. The beach is perfect for swimming and snorkeling, and the Le Cabane restaurant offers a stunning view of the sea. It's a wonderful spot to visit.
