The beach was a great place to have fun and I highly recommend visiting it.
We stayed at this beach for two weeks and although the campsite was quite large, we didn't find the spaces to be as spacious as we had expected. However, it was just enough for our grandchildren. There were plenty of activities for us to enjoy, and the pool was actually better than the sandy beach, which had a lot of seaweed and debris. The plumbing was decent, and the cleaning staff, especially the ladies, did their best to keep it clean. However, like any campsite, it's up to the guests to take care of their own mess. It's worth mentioning that the cleaning efforts seem to focus mainly on the ground level, as you can spot cobwebs and a bit of limescale on the walls if you look higher up. The drain gutters could also be cleaned more thoroughly. Our children stayed in a cottage/mobile home, which was really nice and well-furnished. Overall, it was a great campsite with friendly staff, but it caters more towards families.
I stayed in a mobile home/caravan right by the sea at Camping Vilagio Europa Grado. The camping site was absolutely stunning and well-maintained, making it a perfect haven for children.
This was our first camping trip in Italy, and I must say, the campsite was well-maintained and conveniently located. Right in front of the campsite, there was a bus stop that provided easy access to nearby places. For those who brought their own bikes, there was a fantastic bike path leading to Grado, which we frequently used to explore the surrounding area. The campsite itself was well-developed, although some of the pitches, particularly those in the pine forest, may not have been ideal. However, our neighbors were able to switch pitches without any issues. So, overall, we had no complaints in that regard.
