What a stunning beach! The journey to La Sorgente beach involves parking your car at a nearby lot for 10 euro per day and walking down a narrow road. Once you arrive, you will be greeted by the beautiful pebble beaches of La Sorgente and Sansone. A bar is conveniently located in-between the two beaches, making it easy to grab a refreshing drink or snack. The clear blue waters are perfect for diving and relaxing. However, it can get quite crowded, so it's best to arrive early to secure a prime spot. Even if you arrive later in the day, like we did at around 10 o'clock, you may still be able to find a free spot. One thing to note is that the furthest part of Sansone beach is shaded by rocks around 2 pm, but it's still a pleasant spot to enjoy. Overall, this is one of the most breathtaking beaches on Elba island.
The beach is simply breathtaking, with its serene ambiance and the soothing sound of the waves. The path leading to this picturesque location is definitely worth the trek. Though there are no kiosks in the vicinity, a nearby restaurant caters to your hunger pangs. It's advisable to carry your own water and snacks to avoid further walking. All in all, the beach is a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
I have been to many beaches on this island, but this one the best. The water is so clear that you can see the fish swimming around you, almost close enough to touch. Since it is a pebble beach, it's best to bring swimming shoes to avoid any discomfort. During the summer, it's best to arrive early to snag a parking spot on the side of the road. However, there is also a private car park available for a fee of 12 € for the entire day. On your way to the beach, make sure to stop by the charming restaurant with a breathtaking view.
This shoreline boasts a pristine and serene atmosphere, with its immaculate sands and tranquil surroundings. The smooth white pebbles underfoot offer a therapeutic massage while the crystal-clear water provides an ideal depth for both swimming and discovering the rocks with your little ones. Conveniently, unsupervised parking is available just a short 300-meter stroll from the beach.
I had the pleasure of visiting one of the most stunning beaches I have ever laid eyes on. The crystal-clear waters were a sight to behold and left me in awe. Despite the crowds during mid-August, I would undoubtedly return and recommend it to anyone seeking a memorable beach experience. While it may be a bit tricky to locate, simply follow the crowd or seek online guidance as Google Maps may not lead you there accurately. Overall, this beach is a must-visit for anyone seeking a breathtaking seaside escape.
