La Soda beach is located on the Tyrrhenian Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 61th place out of 82 beaches in the Grosseto region 36.3 km away from its center, the city of Grosseto. It is one of the beaches of Santa Liberata settlement, just 0.3 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a small bay with blue water and gray pebble, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

Despite the fact that a significant part of the beach is occupied by resorts, there is still a fairly large area with free access. The beach facilities are only available to visitors of resort area. Their list includes, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, changing rooms, showers, toilets. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.

The sand here is not bothersome, and the absence of sharp stones is a relief. The beach is also an ideal spot for snorkeling, with plenty of opportunities to explore the underwater world. For those looking to escape the sun's rays, there are rocky areas that provide natural shade, allowing you to relax without the need for an umbrella.

The beach features a stunning view of the sea with an uneven stony surface. The crystal clear waters are home to a variety of fish and small plant life, making it a perfect spot for snorkeling. Visitors are advised to wear proper footwear due to the rocky terrain. It's better to opt for a tent instead of an umbrella as the latter won't stand on the rocky ground. Parking is a bit of a challenge, especially during rush hour, so it's recommended to look for a secluded spot to relax on the beach.

Despite the presence of a nearby bar, the beach remains relatively uncrowded. The underwater landscape is particularly stunning, particularly along the rocky edges of the cove. The only downside is the road that runs behind the beach, which can create some noise pollution and detract from the otherwise serene atmosphere. Nevertheless, the beach is well worth a visit, especially if you prefer a quieter and more secluded spot than some of the more popular coves in the area.
