This beach is a real gem with water so clear you can see the fish swimming around your toes. It's an absolute must-visit for anyone who enjoys stunning natural beauty.
The serene ambiance of the beach is truly remarkable, offering breathtaking vistas that extend far beyond the horizon to the enchanting island of Elba. The tranquility of the surroundings is simply unmatched, providing a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
The beach is located in a beautiful creek and thankfully, the shoreline doesn't face Follonica which would have ruined the view. However, even during high season, the beach appears deserted.
The beach is located 2km away from the parking area, and you need to walk through a lovely forest to get there. It takes only 2 minutes to walk downhill to reach the beach, which is peaceful and pleasant. However, even during high season, the beach remains deserted. It's worth noting that the beach does not have sand.
The beach was a pleasant spot, with only a solitary individual present who soon departed. The shoreline boasted an array of stones and the wind was quick to pick up, causing the water to become choppy with waves. As a result, the water was not as clear as we had hoped. Nevertheless, we managed to enjoy a refreshing swim. Our primary objective was to locate Caia Violina, which was situated in the vicinity. We were successful in our quest the following day and it was certainly worth the trip.
