Pounda beach is located on the South Euboean Gulf (part of Aegean Sea) and it is in the 272th place out of 419 beaches in the Central Greece region 154.4 km away from its center, the city of Lamia. It is one of the beaches of Panagitsa Pounta settlement, just 0.2 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a tiny bay with green pure water and light sand & pebble cover, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, hikers etc. It is almost deserted place even during the high season.

Pounda beach coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature. .

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities.

To get to the beach, you need to drive along a dirt road about 2km long.

The beach is petite in size, and unfortunately, the access to it is not ideal. It is located quite a distance from the city, making it a bit inconvenient to get to. Additionally, the lack of people can make it feel isolated.

The beach is a pristine and well-maintained stretch of sand, complete with comfortable benches nestled under the cool shelter of towering trees. Convenient parking is available just above the beach, making it easy to access. The only drawback is the lack of nearby amenities, so be sure to come prepared with everything you need for a day of sun and relaxation.
