Suncana beach is located on the Adriatic Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 31th place out of 70 beaches in the Lika-Senj region 29.6 km away from its center, the city of Gospic. It is one of the beaches of Metajna settlement, just 0.6 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place, surrounded by the cliffs. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a straight coastline with crystal turquoise water and light fine pebble, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, hikers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Suncana beach coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature. .

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities.

To get to the beach, you need to walk along a mountain trail about 500m long. Parking is located at some distance, within 300 meters.

The beach isn't overly crowded and offers a lovely view. There are some rocks that make for good snorkeling and trees for shade. It's not accessible by car, but it's ideal for a late afternoon stroll and swim.
