Beritnica beach is located on the Adriatic Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 20th place out of 70 beaches in the Lika-Senj region 27.7 km away from its center, the city of Gospic. It is one of the beaches of Metajna settlement, just 1.9 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs.

It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and light pebble, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, hikers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Beritnica beach coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature. .

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities, sea kayaking.

To get to the beach, you need to walk along a mountain trail about 500m long.

This beach is truly out of this world, resembling a lunar landscape rather than anything on Earth. After a short stroll on the rocky path from the parking lot, you'll find yourself on a pebble beach surrounded by breathtaking scenery. The boulders here are colossal and add to the surreal atmosphere. Taking a dip in the water is a real treat, with the stunning surroundings providing a sense of calm and tranquility. It's worth noting that there may be boats in the vicinity, so be sure to pack some sunscreen and enjoy this unique beach experience.

We discovered the most stunning beach on Pag island, and it surpassed our expectations. Contrary to what others have said, the road leading to the beach is not as bad as we anticipated. The narrow stretch is brief and not much of a concern. To access the beach, we parked at Ruzica beach and followed the Life on Mars trail sign, which took us about 30 minutes to walk. Alternatively, we could have walked along the shoreline for approximately 1km. The water is shallow, and there are no bars or shaded areas. The fact that the beach is a bit challenging to reach only adds to its allure. If you arrive early in the day, you'll have the beach all to yourself. We highly recommend visiting this beach for an unforgettable sunset experience.
