This is an absolutely amazing place to spend a few days. The water is a stunning shade of blue and teeming with a variety of fish. The beach is pleasantly uncrowded, allowing for a peaceful and relaxing experience. Furthermore, there is a charming little village just a short walk away, adding to the overall charm of the location. While the famed 'Tango bar' may no longer be around, there is still a convenient bar located right on the beach for those who desire refreshment. All in all, this is a truly wonderful destination that is sure to leave you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.
The beach on the northern coast of Dugi Otok is breathtakingly beautiful with its stunning sand and crystal clear turquoise water. It boasts an incredibly long sandbar, making it an ideal spot for beach lovers. You can easily reach this paradise by taking a bus from Brbinj, where the ferries dock. This makes it an excellent day trip option from Zadar or a must-visit destination during your stay on the island. During the high season, you can find beach cafes and bars to quench your thirst and hunger. However, during the low season, it's better to bring your own food and water as the market in the neighbouring town may only be open until midday.
It's the 21st of August and the water is frigid! It feels more like a river than the sea. The beach is not sandy, but rather rocky. However, there are no stones in the water on half of the shore, while the other half remains rocky even in the water. Despite this, the view is breathtaking and perfect for capturing memories in photos. Unfortunately, I regret spending 340 kunas on this trip. In comparison, Nin's beach is a much better value.
The beach doesn't seem to be anything out of the ordinary, unfortunately. It appears that the maintenance of the beach is lacking, as evidenced by the abundance of dead seaweed. Additionally, it's disappointing to note that the beach bars don't offer basic amenities such as coffee. However, the sand in the sea is absolutely lovely. The view from the sea is truly breathtaking.
This stunning beach boasts crystal clear waters, though it may be necessary to navigate through some seaweed to fully appreciate its beauty. During warm days, it can become quite popular and busy. Pebbles line the shore, while the remainder of the beach is comprised of soft sand. To fully enjoy a swim, one may need to venture out a bit further, as the water is relatively shallow - a great feature for families with young children.
