Crank beach is located on the Adriatic Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 37th place out of 70 beaches in the Lika-Senj region 28.3 km away from its center, the city of Gospic. It is one of the beaches of Metajna settlement, just 1.1 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place, among the mountains.

It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and light pebble, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is very crowded place during the season.

Crank beach coast is free for all. This beach has the following amenities, beach restaurant, changing rooms, toilets. .

This beach is easily accessible, it is located very close to road. Parking is located directly on the beach.

Although the weather was not the sunniest and the wind was strong, I found the entire beach to be quite enjoyable. However, it is important to note that there are no bars or rental options for sunbeds and umbrellas, so it is recommended to bring your own food and drinks.

This beach is a true gem, with a serene and peaceful atmosphere that is not often found in crowded tourist destinations. It is conveniently located and easily accessible, with a nearby parking lot that makes it a breeze to get there. While there are no trees or shade to be found, you can always bring your own shelter or visit in the evening to avoid the heat. If you arrive early enough, you will have the entire beach to yourself, allowing you to fully appreciate the crystal clear waters and breathtaking views. Overall, this beach is truly a must-visit destination for anyone looking for a relaxing and rejuvenating getaway.

The beach offers stunning views and is adorned with small pebbles and gravel. Unfortunately, there is no respite from the sun as the beach lacks any shade. A small beach bar serves fast food and beverages for those in need of refreshment. However, the photos of the beach can be deceiving as it is often packed with people, including those from outside Metajna. It is advisable to arrive early as parking uphill fills up quickly, although there is another parking lot on the opposite side of the beach. My experience was marred by inconsiderate kayakers who placed their belongings in a disruptive manner. Additionally, cigarette butts and litter were found buried in the pebbles on the beach. Despite these setbacks, I give it four stars for its picturesque views.
