Malinska beach is located on the Adriatic Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 103th place out of 315 beaches in the Primorje-Gorski Kotar region 23.2 km away from its center, the city of Rijeka. It is one of the beaches of Malinska settlement, just 0.5 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a small several bays coastline with crystal turquoise water and light fine pebble, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is very crowded place during the season.

This place is almost perfect for me. The afternoon sun is lovely and there are plenty of places to lay down a towel. Although there are lots of rocks, there's a jumping castle for kids of all ages and plenty of fish to admire while snorkeling. It's also conveniently located within walking distance of various eating places, souvenir shops, and restaurants, as well as a few supermarkets and a small carnival. If you prefer a more secluded area, you can walk out a bit and find some peace.
