Valun beach is located on the Adriatic Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 242th place out of 315 beaches in the Primorje-Gorski Kotar region 47.2 km away from its center, the city of Rijeka. It is one of the beaches of Valun settlement, just 0.2 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.
