Vile beach is located on the Adriatic Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 42th place out of 215 beaches in the Istria region 39.5 km away from its center, the city of Pazin. It is one of the beaches of Valbandon settlement, just 2.4 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a spacious bay with crystal turquoise water and light fine pebble, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is very crowded place during the season. There is a campsite located nearby.

Despite the fact that a significant part of the beach is occupied by resorts, there is still a fairly large area with free access. The beach facilities are only available to visitors of resort area. Their list includes, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, changing rooms, showers, toilets. There is also possible to take different water activities such as catamarans or jet skis. This area has also a water park in the sea with various inflatable toys which constitute excellent activities for parents and children. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities, snorkeling, sup-surfing.

This beach is easily accessible, it is located very close to road. Parking is located at some distance, within 300 meters.

During my visit to the beach, I noticed that the sea was teeming with urchins, so it's advisable to wear appropriate footwear. Crocs and flip-flops are acceptable, but make sure they have sufficient thickness. One of the highlights of the beach is the floating playground, which is a fantastic source of entertainment for children aged 5 and above. Younger children are provided with life vests, so there's no need to worry. We paid 60 HRK per hour to enjoy this facility in mid-July. The stones on the beach are not smooth, so it's a good idea to bring a mat for added comfort.
