Kanalic beach is located on the Adriatic Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 206th place out of 215 beaches in the Istria region 40 km away from its center, the city of Pazin. It is one of the beaches of Valbandon settlement, just 2.8 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and rocks cover, so it is highly recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is almost deserted place even during the high season.

Kanalic beach coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature. .

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities.

Getting to the beach is quite simple: just take a short walk along the trail. Parking is located at some distance, within 300 meters.

There are plenty of parking spots available on the street, with some even offering shade. From there, you can either head straight to the beach section located near the Lost Bar, or follow the coastline to find rocky plateaus to lounge on. The beach slopes gently, making it a popular spot for families with children. If you're feeling adventurous and have sturdy shoes or bathing shoes, you can head towards the plateaus for a secluded and romantic experience, perfect for couples or those with furry companions. The only downside is the absence of waste bins, but otherwise, this beach is truly fantastic.
