Fazana beach is located on the Adriatic Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 18th place out of 215 beaches in the Istria region 36.6 km away from its center, the city of Pazin. It is one of the beaches of Fazana settlement, just 0.5 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a spacious coastline with crystal turquoise water and light fine pebble, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Despite the fact that a significant part of the beach is occupied by resorts, there is still a fairly large area with free access. The beach facilities are only available to visitors of resort area. This beach is a pleasant change from the typical narrow and rocky beaches found in the region. It's unique with its pebbles and definitely worth a visit. Fazana is conveniently located near many popular Istrian attractions such as Rovinj and Pula.

The beach is charming, however, there seems to be some yellowish gray water being released from the pipes. Additionally, the beach has light and fine pebbles.

The beach is fantastic, but keep in mind that the beach bars only accept cash and you'll need to pay 150 kunas for a parasol and two sunbeds for the entire day. It's an ideal spot to spend the entire day, especially since it's safe for children and easy to keep an eye on them. It's definitely family-friendly. However, I gave it four stars instead of five because there aren't any gluten-free food options in the area. It would be great if they had at least one safe gluten-free option and one gluten-free ice cream available for purchase at the bars.
