This beach is an amazing destination that my family and I thoroughly enjoyed. We spent our time fishing and cockling, and even my 6-year-old daughter was able to catch an eel. We decided to camp out overnight in our motorhome and it was a wonderful experience. Additionally, there is a bird sanctuary located right across from the beach that we absolutely loved. Overall, this beach is a fantastic location that offers a variety of activities for all ages to enjoy.

This pebble beach is an ideal spot to relax and observe the constant flow of ships entering and exiting Southampton's docks. It's a haven for ship enthusiasts, so don't forget to bring your binoculars. I have fond memories of the Queen Mary passing by during my time living nearby on Upper Weston Lane. The sailing club, where my father would race his dinghies, is just a short distance down the shore. Simply being by the sea, listening to the sound of pebbles tumbling in the waves, is a perfect way to unwind. Keep in mind, if you're searching for a Mediterranean-style beach, this may not be your cup of tea. However, I personally adore it. The pavilions have been a charming presence since the late 1960s, adding to the overall appeal of this delightful location.

The camping area was pleasant and had excellent amenities such as a pool and entertainment. However, I did notice some campers engaging in discussions, and although I didn't witness it myself, there was evidence of damage to the toilet holders and what appeared to be feces smearing the walls. 😳 It's unfortunate that some campers don't respect the facilities, which affects the staff and the enjoyment of everyone. Additionally, the arcade seemed more focused on making money, as the prizes looked cheap and low-quality. It would be beneficial to have some engaging arcade games to play instead of winning meaningless tickets.
