I think it would be much more bustling during the summer months. It's your typical British coastal town. The parking is reasonably priced and there are many spots available. It was a little frustrating that the machines were broken, but I was able to use the app instead. Despite that, the weather was sunny and the scenery was breathtaking.
This beach is perfect for taking a leisurely stroll and admiring the scenery. The town center has plenty of options for dining and drinking nearby. At the northern end of the beach, there are huts where you can observe planes landing at the Solent Airport.
I recently went to Lee on the Solent for the first time and found it to be a very pleasant place. Although the beach is pebbly, it is still a lovely and clean spot with well-maintained walkways. It's also conveniently located near shops and a chippy. Plus, the views of the Isle of Wight are fantastic, and you can even see ships, surfers, and container ships coming in and out of Southampton.
The beach is really lovely and has small pebbles on it. The water is very calm and peaceful.
During my visit to this beach amidst the lockdown, several places were closed due to obvious reasons. However, the beach had a sizable car park and road parking with ample spaces available during my visit. The beach offered picturesque views of the Isle of Wight and Calshot. The long promenade was perfect for a leisurely walk and had seating options available. The public toilets were open and impeccably clean. Although there weren't many cafes open, the ones that were offered takeaway services. Additionally, the beach has light pebbles that add to its charm. Once the lockdown is lifted, the children's splash pool and play areas, as well as the skateboarding area, will be open for visitors. For now, visitors can enjoy the sunshine, the view, and take a walk for some exercise.
