This beach in Chicago is hands down the best. If you enjoy seagulls, expansive sandy areas, and friendly people who will greet you with a smile and wave, this is the place to be. Don't forget to attend the rhythm festival happening later this month on August 26-27!

The beach has a fantastic atmosphere. There is a large expanse of grass right by the beach, perfect for gathering with friends and family for parties and barbecues. The water of Lake Michigan is wonderfully warm in July. It's a really enjoyable place. 🤩🥳

The beach is vibrant and enjoyable! The evenings are perfect for relaxing with friends, taking a leisurely walk, and admiring the beautiful sunset. During the summer months, you'll spot numerous birds scattered throughout the beach area. Additionally, there's plenty of parking space available, which is a convenient and hassle-free feature.

The beach offers a pleasant promenade with various seating areas where you can relax and appreciate the marina. During our visit, there was a live band performing right on the beach. There are plenty of activities available, such as volleyball and boat rentals, and you can also simply take in the beautiful view of downtown and the sparkling sunlight on the water while observing the sailboats entering and leaving the harbor.

This beach is the ideal spot for your furry friend to cool off in the summer heat! The water is shallow enough, and during the weekdays, it's much less crowded. There's convenient free parking nearby. Just keep in mind that it's a dog beach, so be cautious when setting up your sunbathing area – you might end up with a dog marking its territory on your chair! So far, the people here have been very friendly.
