they say you can swim here, but unless you're 4 ft tall, no you can't, they literally patrol it in row boats and even on green flag days they don't let you go out farther than the water being waist deep on a short person, so no swimming. meanwhile, homeless prowl around and will take anything unguarded

Very nice beach and kept clean. More of an Uptown feel than Dog Beach or other beaches to the south. It seems cleaner than the other beaches.
