Awesome beach if you have military base privileges! Clean, secluded, and not highly populated. Only negative is they only have lifeguards on the weekends so no swimming during the week👎🏽

What a great place for all our Service people & their family's! It even has a sandbar. The first one I've ever seen in fresh water. It is very clean & the base it's self is just beautiful the architecture is 20th century, so it has that pride that was taken in construction work back then. I would've loved to explore the inside of the buidings to see the old ornamental woodwork, chandeliers maybe still there, etc... But, since it's an active base that's highly patrolled I did not want to risk jail. However, I highly enjoyed my day at the base! I couldn't have asked for more. This beach is on a military installation but for those authorized nice place for a day on the sand with water right there also.
