Lovely spot to watch the waves and enjoy the beauty of Lake Michigan.... Children can have fun in the water while the shoreline is tidy enough to spread out a blanket and relax your legs if needed... The water levels may vary with high tide, but the visit is always worthwhile!
Lovely small shoreline with beautiful boulders. The water appeared murky due to boat activity, but all in all, a truly pleasant experience.
It's pleasant but not particularly suitable for families. Although the water appears clear when viewed from a depth of six feet, the surface contains scattered debris from the nearby lake. You may encounter dead insects and other waste in the area. We even came across a couple of plastic bags. The limited parking helps keep the crowds to a minimum. The sand is clean, but watch out for numerous small rocks before reaching the water. If you're not accompanied by young children, it's a decent spot. I suggest visiting for the scenery, and keep in mind that you're heading to a lakeside beach, not an oceanfront.
Truly beautiful and picturesque, brand new seating options are available for you to relax and take in the stunning scenery. You can also stroll along the beach when it's visible.
Fantastic shoreline for strolling and discovering, good rock collecting as well.
