It's a lovely little spot. We decided to take a break and walk around while exploring the thumb region with my parents who are from out of state. I assume this beach gets quite crowded during the summer months.
The park is really lovely, and like many parks, it's somewhat secluded and often not directly accessible from the main road. I think it's definitely worth the effort to visit. We decided to make a quick stop for a picnic and took some pictures.
The beach park is fantastic, complete with a boardwalk! It offers endless hours of enjoyment for the children. Additionally, there is an indoor restroom with three stalls and a small shop where you can find food and drinks. On the opposite side of the boardwalk, kayak rentals are available. The entire area is well-maintained and spotless.
This beach is a great place to bring your kids for some Springtime Smallmouth Bass fishing with spinners! Don't forget to subscribe to my YouTube channel for family-friendly fishing content.
This beach is straightforward and well-maintained. It's perfect for enjoying picnics and taking a refreshing swim, especially in the summer (although it was a bit chilly when we visited). The water was remarkably clear, which was a pleasant surprise. There were plenty of seagulls wandering around the beach, and there's even a playground for children. Additionally, there's a small eatery where you can grab snacks, as well as several picnic tables. The pier is quite long and offers a better view of the charming little lighthouse. As you walk down the pier, you'll notice many people fishing, and there are plenty of seats available. The atmosphere is very relaxed, and the view is absolutely stunning.
