Lighthouse Beach is located on the Huron lake and it is in the 45th place out of 151 beaches in the Michigan region 176.8 km away from its center, the city of Lansing. It is one of the beaches of Port Huron settlement, just 3.2 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a long lasting coastline with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is quite sharp. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Up in the area on a hockey trip in January. Took a few of the boys to the park to get out of the hotel and video games. It was cold so nobody was out. They had toilet rooms but they were closed because of the season. Might be a nice place to visit in the summer.

This is one of my favorite places to visit in Eastern Michigan! This site is very accessible. The views are amazing. The temperatures are almost always milder than instate. The views from the top of the Lighthouse are spectacular. Huron is so blue. Looking to the north The lake is so vast I feel like I'm at the ocean. Also, it is worth the drive around the waterfront to the south toward the International Bridge, a visit to the Thomas Edison Museum, and to watch the freighters pass under the bridge and traverse the wild St. Clair River. The Lighthouse's gifts hope has a nice variety of gifts and mementos. Light snacks are available for purchase. The restroom is clean and handicap accessible. It is fun and interesting to walk along the beach looking for special rocks. Remember, the water is cold and swift as three huge lakes flow threw this area. Have fun but be safe.
