I visited this stunning beach in September and absolutely loved it. The beach boasts beautiful golden sand and the water has a mesmerizing emerald hue. What I particularly enjoyed about this place was its peaceful and uncrowded atmosphere.
On weekdays, the beach was not too crowded and offered fantastic waves. Even on the weekends, when it was a bit busier, there was still ample space available. There is a small parking lot as well as street parking in close proximity. Additionally, there are showers and bathrooms available. However, we did not spot any lifeguards during our visits.
Without a doubt, my favorite beach on Oahu! It has long stretches of soft, white sandy beach, with consistently blue water and gentle waves. It's ideal for wading as the water remains shallow for quite a distance, and there are no rocks to worry about. I even brought my floaty to spend hours floating here. The waves gently lap the shore, so if you prefer crashing waves, you should head to Makena for that experience. There is plenty of sandy beach space for families to spread out, and a few trees provide some shade as well. Additionally, there are proper bathrooms and shower areas available.
I absolutely adore this beach! The sand has a nice density, making it easy to walk on without sinking. It's incredibly clean, peaceful, and incredibly relaxing. If only I could stay here forever! Surprisingly, there are no seagulls in sight, only pigeons and chickens. It's simply stunning.
This beach has quickly become my go-to spot, just like many others who have visited. Fortunately, we were able to find accommodation nearby, allowing us the convenience of strolling over to the beach. Although it can get a bit crowded for my liking on Fridays and Saturdays, it remains a serene and delightful place to unwind or take a leisurely stroll. The beach spans approximately 2 miles, making it a truly enjoyable experience to wander from one end to the other.
