Kaluakai Beach is located on the Pacific ocean and it is in the 233th place out of 282 beaches in the Hawaii region 186.8 km away from its center, the city of Honolulu. It is one of the beaches of Kilauea settlement, just 3.5 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place, among the mountains. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

This beach seems to be the only place where one can indulge in spearfishing. It's a pity that there's nothing else to do here. The lack of amenities and activities makes it a dull and uneventful location. It's not worth the effort to travel here, as there are much better options available.

This beach is a true hidden gem, offering a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. While the journey to reach it may require some effort, the reward is well worth it. The starting point on N Waiakalua Road is not the longest trail, but it does have certain areas that are steep and potentially hazardous. However, the breathtaking scenery and peaceful atmosphere make it all worthwhile.
