The beach is an exquisite destination that is conveniently accessible and offers a delightful experience of strolling along the shore while enjoying the mesmerizing sight of surfers riding the waves.
What a hoot this beach is! We ventured to this sandy spot on a day when the sky was feeling a bit moody, but it still had a certain charm.
Last week, we stumbled upon a beach that quickly became a favorite of mine. During low tide, we took a leisurely stroll along the shore and discovered numerous caves teeming with starfish and other sea creatures. The beach is remarkably spacious, and unlike many beaches in southern New England, it's not overcrowded. I highly recommend taking the time to visit this hidden gem.
Although the view was undoubtedly stunning, Oregon's coast is filled with 90% of beautiful sights. I am unsure why they named it Arcadia, as the Arcadia in Maine surpasses it in every way. Nonetheless, locating the beach is a breeze if your GPS doesn't lead you astray and take you past the tiny pull-off only to circle back up the hill. If it happens to be raining, prepare to get your feet wet as there are numerous puddles. However, watching the waves crash against the shore makes for a breathtaking experience at this gorgeous location.
The beach is situated just south of the bustling Seaside and boasts a breathtaking location with easy public access. It is not crowded, allowing visitors to enjoy a peaceful and serene environment. There is ample parking available, although it may not be the most secure option due to the distance from the beach. The beach is perfect for picnics, swimming, leisurely walks, and capturing stunning photographs of the vast rocks, tide pools, marine life, and seashells. The state park outhouses are decently maintained, providing convenient restroom facilities. However, the terrain leading down to the beach is quite rough and involves numerous stairs, making it not wheelchair accessible. Despite this, the beach is a favorite spot for many visitors who frequently return to enjoy its natural beauty and serenity.
