This sandy beach boasts breathtaking views that will leave you in awe. On busy days, parking can be a bit of a hassle, but even on quieter days, the lack of hourly parking rates means that it may not be the best option for a short visit. Instead, daily and weekly parking rates are available at $25 and $100 respectively. Overall, a visit to this beach is well worth the effort, as the natural beauty and serene atmosphere are simply unparalleled.
During our visit to Goochs beach, we were pleasantly surprised to find it uncrowded and impeccably clean. The absence of rocks made it an enjoyable walk from one end to the other. Parking was abundant along the beach line, with no shortage of available spots. While the waves weren't particularly strong, we did observe several novice surfers taking advantage of them. The water appeared to be quite shallow, as even children were able to wade far out into the sea. Overall, Goochs beach seems like a perfect spot for a summer day outing. It's worth noting, however, that there are no coffee shops or restaurants in close proximity to the beach.
If you find yourself with some spare time, Gooch's Beach is a delightful destination to unwind. For those with furry friends, you can bring your canine companion along after 5 p.m. Parking fees apply unless you possess a pass, but come September 15th, parking is complimentary all day. The beach closes at 11 p.m. and reopens at 6 a.m., with the added bonus of warm days in September and October to soak up the sun. The trees surrounding the beach transform into a vivid display of colors before shedding their leaves, making for a picturesque sight.
