To access the parking lot and the beach, a fee is required. For your convenience, there is a restroom available for changing and a shower pole located near the boardwalk for rinsing off after a day in the sun. We ventured north past Bird Island, which is simply another section of the beach. While heading south, there is a lookout platform, but it is not accessible from the beach area. Trash cans are only provided near the entrance and after the boardwalk. The beach stretches out extensively with shells scattered throughout. It is important to note that no pets are permitted on the beach.
The hospitality of the locals was outstanding. The shoreline was adorned with an abundance of seashells. The cost of admission was exceptionally low, with a single fee granting access to the park for the entire day. This location offers more than just a typical beach, with amenities such as immaculate restroom facilities, designated picnic areas, and scenic walking paths, some of which are sheltered from the sun. Overall, the visit was a fantastic one, and I plan on returning in the near future.
This stunning beach is an oasis of tranquility. The park entrance fee for a car is $8, but it's worth it for the convenience of outdoor showers to rinse off sand and wash your feet. The small food stand, restrooms, and bike rentals add to the fun atmosphere. For $16 per person, you can rent a bike for two hours, which is plenty of time to explore the far reaches of the park and catch a glimpse of St. Augustine.
This charming location is simply delightful. I would love to visit again and explore further! The cost for a car with 1 to 2 passengers is $4, while 3 or more passengers is only $8, making it an affordable option for a wonderful day spent by the seaside.
We had an absolutely incredible experience at the beach. The car entry fee was a reasonable $8, and we were able to park right by the shoreline. In addition to the stunning beach itself, there were also various amenities available for rent, including bicycles and canoes. There was even a nearby camping area for those who wanted to extend their stay. The beach was truly breathtaking, and we felt that it was well worth our time to visit. We even took a break to explore the nearby town of St. Augustine, but were able to return to the beach later in the day without any additional cost thanks to our receipt. Despite the beach's beauty, it was not overcrowded, making it a true hidden gem. We can't wait to return in the near future!
