Such an incredible little island. This was the highlight of our sea kayaking trip to the ten thousand islands. The beaches are beautiful and the view from the porta potties at sunrise is gorgeous! It feels very remote. We only saw one other camper, but no other boats when we were there. The night sky is amazing and there were fish everywhere. I definitely want to make a return trip someday.

What an incredible place! Absolutely amazing place to camp! And the kayak ride out there is pure Florida magic! You'll see Bottlenose Dolphins, Nurse Sharks, Sting Rays, Goliath Grouper, Tarpon, Bald Eagles! The sunsets are also a sight to behold and you can see the Milky Way on a moonless night! Do yourself a favor and kayak out there for an overnight stay! Make sure you register at the Everglades National Park Office in Everglades City before you head out. And this should go without saying but take a detailed Waterproof map of the are with GPS coordinates and don't forget a GPS device! Have fun! 😊👍

Highly recommend this particular key if you bring a boat. Excellent fishing all around you!

It's a beautiful island with lots of shells. We didn't experience as much of it as we would have liked. There's a huge beach on the gulf side of the island. We had a lot of mosquitoes in February, but it had been warm and rainy.

When the tide goes out it is a long hike to the boat
