The weather greatly impacts one's enjoyment of a beach, but despite this, the golden sand at this particular beach made for a pleasant experience.
This stunning beach boasts soft and inviting sand, though it becomes a tad rocky as you approach the water's edge. Lifeguards are always on duty, their flags marking the safest areas for swimming. Restrooms and a foot-washing station are conveniently located nearby, as well as a charming cafe. Families with little ones will appreciate the splash pad, perfect for hours of fun in the sun. Without a doubt, this beach is a must-visit destination.
This beach is a hidden gem, even on a busy bank holiday. You can easily find free parking spaces if you arrive early, with some available near the RNLI shop and on the main road. However, it's worth noting that dogs are not allowed from 1 May to 30 September, although there were a few furry friends enjoying the sand and surf on 2 June.
I absolutely love this beach! The golden sand is stunning and adds to the beauty of this already amazing location.
The beach was delightful. We visited on a chilly winter day, but the sun was beaming down, and our furry companions had a blast running along the shoreline. Conveniently, there is free parking available right by the beach, and a plethora of amenities such as a café, fish and chip shop, and amusements. It was a truly enjoyable day out.
