The beach has a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere, and it is conveniently located near the park. Additionally, it offers some beautiful views of the sea. It is worth noting that the beach has light pebbles, which adds to its unique charm.
We found the beach so enjoyable that we decided to make a second trip from the Midlands, which speaks volumes about how much we liked it. It's a peaceful alternative to the Witterings and has ample free parking nearby (try the side streets). Families, nature enthusiasts, artists, and photographers will all appreciate this spot. During high tide, a lengthy and broad sea wall makes for a lovely and intriguing stroll. Additionally, it is wheelchair-friendly. At high tide, the beach is covered in shingle, but during low to mid-tide, it exposes stunning, soft, yellow sand. There are small fishing boats at the top and a plethora of vibrant marine flowers. This is a true treasure on the South Coast.
Although the beach only has light pebbles due to high tide, it is still a great spot for a leisurely stroll along the sea wall. Additionally, it is accessible for individuals using wheelchairs.
This public beach is fantastic and located a bit further from the touristy areas, making it more serene. It's also perfect for taking a leisurely stroll along the main beachfront wall.
It's a great spot to relax and observe the local fauna. Despite its size, there's always plenty of wildlife to observe.
