The beach offers crystal clear waters and stunning sand dunes. I was fortunate enough to spot a caretta caretta sea turtle swimming about 100 meters away from the shore. However, it's possible that the nearby nuclear power plant or road construction could have contributed to this sighting. The beach tends to get crowded during peak hours, likely due to people taking a break from work. It's important to remember to keep the beach clean and free of litter, even if you're new to beach culture. I witnessed a man collecting shells while enjoying a cigarette, which was a somewhat amusing sight.
Unfortunately, the beach is in close proximity to the Akkuyu nuclear power plant. Despite this, the beach boasts of its beautiful sandy shore and crystal-clear waters. It is an underrated gem, almost hidden in plain sight amidst the sand and sea. The path leading to the beach is quite rough, yet the sight of the stunning shoreline and the sea makes it all worthwhile. However, on the right side, the occasional detonation of dynamites during the construction of the nuclear power plant can startle you, sending a cloud of dust into the air.
The beach may appear appealing with its stunning sand, but don't be fooled by its facade. The air is thick with dust and smoke from the ongoing construction, making it an unpleasant experience for any visitor. The beach is also frequented by a group of working-class single men, which can be intimidating for some. It's not exactly the ideal vacation spot, and it's no surprise that it's not a popular destination for tourists.
This beach is truly a gem! The crystal clear waters and sandy bottom make it unnecessary to wear water shoes. The fish swimming near the rocks are a sight to behold. The bay itself is simply breathtaking and the gradual slope into the sea is perfect for children. The trees provide ample shade for those who want a break from the sun. Unfortunately, the restroom facilities are not very appealing. On a positive note, there is a shop nearby, but be warned that it does not sell beer. If you venture beyond the bridge, you'll find a second part of the beach with sunbeds and bars. Check out our YouTube channel, Camper4life, for a video of this amazing place.
This serene beach amidst the lush pine trees is perfect for those seeking peace and quiet. It offers a tranquil atmosphere unlike any other nearby beaches. The seabed is a mix of stones and sand, so it's advisable to bring along some sea shoes. There's a101 nearby where you can find everything you need. A few small hotels are available, offering the option of half board or house rentals.
