Ilica Plaji is located on the Aegean Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 19th place out of 279 beaches in the Izmir region The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains.

It is a long bay with crystal turquoise water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, seniors etc. It is very crowded place during the season.

Ilica Plaji coast is free for all. This beach has the following amenities, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, changing rooms, showers, toilets. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.

The public beach is lovely and well-maintained. There's plenty of room to settle in and enjoy the scenery. The water is crystal clear, and even in late September, it's still warm enough to swim comfortably. Changing cabins and outdoor showers are available to rinse off the sand. Although the restroom facilities may not be the most appealing, overall, it's a delightful free public beach.

Although the water is stunning, the sand is unpleasant due to the abundance of cigarette butts, used bottles, and packages. However, it should be noted that the beach features beautiful golden fine sand.

This beach was absolutely beautiful with its golden fine sand. It's perfect for sunbathing and great for little children as the shallows extend quite a ways out and the waves aren't rough. The water is incredibly clear and stunning. I also appreciated the convenient shower and bathroom facilities. Overall, I highly recommend this great beach.
