Cesme Dodo Beach is located on the Aegean Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 19th place out of 279 beaches in the Izmir region The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

4 Frustrating

If only the management put in more effort in maintaining the place, it could have been a paradise. Unfortunately, the broken chairs, filthy pillows, and littered floor with bottles that have been there for ages, leave a sour taste in one's mouth. It's truly a shame! The beach boasts of natural beauty, but the exorbitant fees we paid for the amenities offered is not justified.

Perhaps one of the most ideal destinations in Cesme, we visited the beach today and it was absolutely marvelous! The tranquil atmosphere and serene surroundings made for a truly relaxing experience. The crystal clear waters were a sight to behold and the attentive service provided was exceptional. The prices were reasonable and we are already looking forward to returning to this paradise.

The rating reflects the tranquility of the bay, though one star is deducted due to the mostly rocky terrain, with a small section of sand. The entrance fee is 90 TL per person and includes a chaise lounge and an umbrella, allowing you to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the coastline. It's worth noting that establishments in this area are often temporary and lack the sophistication of a traditional restaurant. However, if you're looking for a simple seaside meal served by men with basic skills, you won't be disappointed. Just remember to adjust your expectations accordingly.
