Kabak beach is located on the Mediterranean Sea and it is in the 102th place out of 517 beaches in the Mugla region The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and light fine pebble, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season. There is a campsite located nearby.

As it is still in the development phase, the beach is not crowded, leaving you with ample space to relax and unwind. This beach is a typical small one that is accompanied by hotels and restaurants. However, the presence of numerous boats in the water makes it appear even more polluted and uninviting. The water is often murky and frothy, which is quite unpleasant. In order to find cleaner water, one must venture further out into the sea. Despite its shortcomings, the beach does have a unique feature - it is home to turtle nests, which adds to its charm.

Accessing this beach can prove to be quite challenging. The terrain is not typical of a sandy beach, so it is recommended to wear appropriate footwear. The surrounding mountains, however, provide a picturesque backdrop, earning this beach a rating of 2 stars.

Our expectations were high for this beach after hearing glowing reviews and recommendations, but unfortunately, we left feeling underwhelmed. The journey to the beach is challenging, as the dusty and slippery road requires a 4x4 vehicle. For those without such a car, it's better to park at the top and take a bus or taxi to the bottom. Once on the beach, we found it to be quite rocky, making it difficult to relax on a towel without discomfort. There were no sunbeds for rent, adding to the discomfort. While the sea was a beautiful color, it was no different from other beaches in the area, such as Oludeniz. Furthermore, the beach was not as clean as we had hoped. However, we believe that renting a small bungalow and staying for a few days could be a unique experience, as it provides an opportunity to meet interesting people with a hippie vibe.
