The beach was incredibly packed with people, leaving little room to even walk between the rows of sunbeds. Despite the potential for a pleasant experience, the setup was disappointing. Additionally, leaving the beach was a hassle, as the line for the only two trucks available to transport visitors back to the car park was extremely long, resulting in a half-hour wait.
The beach offers of crystal clear waters and a small stretch of sandy shore that is immaculate. A generously sized car park is available for free use, and a nominal fee of 35tl is charged at the entrance for access to the beach. Visitors are transported to the beach via a tractor. Sunbeds are available for rent at a reasonable cost of 25tl, while basic food items like snacks and refreshments are priced between 15 to 30tl. However, visitors are welcome to bring their own provisions and chairs. This is not a beach for those seeking adventure and excitement, but rather a tranquil haven for relaxation. It takes just 25 minutes by car from Akyaka to reach this idyllic spot, and it remains open to the public until mid-October, weather permitting.
The beach was a complete letdown. The views were mediocre at best and the atmosphere was dull and lifeless. It's a hassle to get there, taking around 40 minutes by car and costing a ridiculous 300tl for a round trip taxi. The entrance fee of 25tl per adult was just another waste of money. Once inside, the wait for the tractor/shuttle was unbearable, adding another 10 minutes to the already tedious journey. The sunbeds and picnic tables were overpriced, costing 25tl and 30tl respectively. The family owned restaurant was nothing special, serving mediocre home made food and drinks that were anything but refreshing. The showers and changing rooms were subpar and the beach toys for kids were just a cheap ploy to get more money out of visitors. In short, it was a complete disappointment and we definitely won't be returning. The photos were misleading and didn't even come close to capturing the true essence of this lackluster beach.
The beach is absolutely stunning. I visited during October, which was great because it wasn't too crowded. However, there is an entrance fee, which I suppose is reasonable as long as the beach is well-maintained during the summer months. On the downside, the burgers served at the cafe are truly terrible - the worst burger I've ever had!
I have to say, this beach is one of the most stunning I've ever seen. My first visit was back in 2009, and it left an unforgettable impression on me. The sand is absolutely perfect, and the water is crystal clear. What's more, the entrance to the beach is well-maintained and inviting. Back then, the beach was less developed than it is now, and the only cafe or restaurant was a mobile trailer. I remember taking a ride on the funny tractor, which only lasted a couple of minutes but was a lot of fun. After a day in the sun, we headed to a restaurant nestled in the woods, and the food was absolutely amazing. I can't recommend this tour enough, particularly if you're visiting Turkey.
