The beach is an exquisite sight to behold, exuding a serene and tranquil atmosphere. Unfortunately, our experience was marred by inconsiderate individuals last night. (28.12.22) A gentle reminder... As you make the effort to journey here, bringing along your own refreshments and kindling for a cozy fire, it would be greatly appreciated if you could also dispose of your litter in one of the ten receptacles situated just 25 meters away.
The beach was average, not particularly outstanding. It was relatively small in size and there were numerous campers occupying the beach. Although the water was crystal clear, it did not offer any unique features. However, the pier located at the hotel beach was truly remarkable and worth experiencing.
We embarked on a delightful ferry ride from the Dalyan town port, although there is also a crossing available near the lake's mouth north of Dalyan. Traveling on a moped was a wise choice, as the journey on foot would have been too arduous. Following the signs to Kaunos, we discovered an incredible Roman Empire site, complete with a stunning Amphitheatre and breathtaking views. Continuing on our journey, we made our way to Sultaniye, located on the serene lake shore. We stopped for a delectable lunch at a charming campsite with a restaurant, surrounded by picturesque scenery. Our next destination was Ekincik, a stunning bay with a shaded eating area that offered excellent prices. The ride through the hills was a true delight, with well-maintained roads and minimal traffic.
The beach offers stunning scenery, but Iztuzu surpasses it in every way.
The state of the ocean is in impeccable condition, providing a serene and soothing atmosphere for beachgoers.
