The beach is quite crowded and unfortunately, the sea is not very pristine, with numerous large stones scattered about. It's not exactly a picturesque beach. However, the surrounding park is quite lovely and provides a great opportunity for leisurely strolls.
The beach was extremely unclean, leaving me to question how anyone could possibly relax amidst the litter strewn about.
For a mere 30 Lira, you can gain access to this stunning beach. The prices for tea, coffee, and other beverages are incredibly affordable, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy the scenery. The security personnel are on duty until 7 p.m., ensuring a safe and peaceful environment for all. I am absolutely enamored with this place.
I ventured to the paid section of the beach and although it cost us around 30 lira per person, it was well worth the expense as we were able to secure a comfortable chair and umbrella. We arrived on a Friday in July at 9am and were pleasantly surprised to find the beach completely deserted. Even by 11am, the area remained uncrowded, which was a nice change of pace. The water was refreshingly clean, but unfortunately, the sand was littered with cigarette butts, although significantly less than the nearby unpaid beach. One aspect that left me puzzled was the location of the bathroom facilities. If anyone has any insight, please share as it appeared that many others were also searching for them.
The beach is a delightful and immaculate spot. Dogs are not permitted on the right side, but I managed to sneak my tiny pooch in through the left entrance without any trouble. Although alcohol is prohibited, a few visitors brought their own beers and were not reprimanded. While there are plenty of umbrellas, sunbeds are in short supply, and some families tend to monopolize them, which can be frustrating. The sea was pristine during my visit, and the sand was soft and velvety. Besides, there's a small cafe on-site, as well as a miniature football field and a volleyball net. Lifeguards are also present to ensure everyone's safety. The entry fee of ₺30, which can be paid using an istanbulkart, is quite reasonable for the amenities provided. Overall, I would highly recommend this beach for a budget-friendly day out.
