Ko Kut Beach is located on the Gulf of Thailand (part of South China Sea) and it is in the 1th place out of 56 beaches in the Trat region 67.5 km away from its center, the city of Trat. It is one of the beaches of Haad Khlong Chao settlement, just 0.1 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a straight coastline with crystal turquoise water and white fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

Ko Kut Beach shoreline is completely occupied by the hotels. The beach facilities are only available to hotel guests. Their list includes, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, toilets, sea pool. Located within Klong Chao beach, the water is clean, clear, and warm, with soft sand to walk on. The sea remains calm, and its shallowness varies with the tide, making it ideal for swimming in the morning. However, when we visited in the late afternoon, we had to walk out a bit further to enjoy a beautiful swim. Along the beach, there are a few options for beach bar/restaurants, although they are quite spread out. We truly hope that over development does not spoil the charm of this beach and the entire island. It is already pretty perfect just the way it is.

There is a parking area on the left side, right by the beach. On the right, you'll find a stunningly beautiful sandy beach that stretches out long and wide. Additionally, on the left side, there is a great spot for snorkeling.
