Takhian Beach is located on the Gulf of Thailand (part of South China Sea) and it is in the 15th place out of 56 beaches in the Trat region 71 km away from its center, the city of Trat. It is one of the beaches of Ao Ta Khian settlement, just 0.3 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a spacious coastline with crystal turquoise water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is almost deserted place even during the high season.

Takhian Beach shoreline is completely occupied by the hotels. The beach facilities are only available to hotel guests. Their list includes, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, toilets, sea pool. .

This hidden beach, discovered by descending the path next to Chams House Resort on Koh Kood, provides a secluded and untamed natural adventure. Distinguished by its rocky terrain and powerful waves, it presents a stark difference from the tranquil beaches on the island. Although a few scattered items may be present on the shore, the opportunity to relish in a serene beach with minimal crowds is a special attraction. We opted not to take a dip in the water, but it appeared crystal clear and pristine. Regrettably, the shoreline was littered with debris that had been washed ashore, especially in areas without any inhabitants, such as the derelict resort nearby. In contrast, Chams diligently work to maintain the cleanliness of the beach in front of their property. The coast on this side features moderate waves due to the wind, with rocks strewn along the beach's perimeter.

I was curious if the residents are not bothered by the abundance of litter? I think there might be some public funds available to compensate individuals for collecting the litter and maintaining the beach on a regular basis. It would also be beneficial to educate the sailors and fishermen to refrain from discarding items into the ocean from their vessels. Nonetheless, the beach is expansive but lacks any distinctive features.
