Ko Chang Beach is located on the Gulf of Thailand (part of South China Sea) and it is in the 38th place out of 56 beaches in the Trat region 23.7 km away from its center, the city of Trat. It is one of the beaches of Sai Thong settlement, just 1.8 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a straight coastline with crystal turquoise water and brown sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

Ko Chang Beach shoreline is completely occupied by the hotels. The beach facilities are only available to hotel guests. Their list includes, loungers and umbrellas. .

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities, sea kayaking.

I have been a regular guest at Ban Talay Thai for the past few years. My family and I have always had a great experience with their rental houses, which are of high quality, very comfortable, and offer great value, whether you're looking for a fully equipped home on the beach or a self-contained bungalow. The rental residences are well taken care of by the friendly staff, who do an excellent job. I would highly recommend Ban Talay Thai, especially for families. However, it's worth noting that BTT is located on the quieter east side of the island, about 30 minutes away from the lively and popular White Sand Beach area on the west side.
