Ao Pai Beach is located on the Andaman Sea (part of Indian ocean) and it is in the 20th place out of 20 beaches in the Ranong region 32.3 km away from its center, the city of Ranong. It is one of the beaches of Ao Mea Mai settlement, just 3.3 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place, among the mountains. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade. This beach is not a well-known place, so it is well suited for a relaxing leisure.

It is a small bay with turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, hikers etc. It is almost deserted place even during the high season.

Ao Pai Beach coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature. .

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities.

We discovered the beach by taking the path across from Mountain Resort. The beach has stunning golden sand, making it a perfect spot for sunbathing and relaxing.

I haven't had the chance to visit the beach itself, so my rating is solely based on the safety of the path leading up to it. Additionally, I've heard that the beach boasts golden sand.

Finding the path to this beach may prove to be a challenge, as it is not well-maintained and located just north of an abandoned building site across from the road leading to Mountain Resort. A bit of a detour around the building and a climb up the hill is necessary. Unfortunately, the beach is littered with trash, including bags of garbage that have broken down into unsightly heaps. Despite these shortcomings, the beach has its charms, such as a quaint little cove and a scenic view. Adventurous types will enjoy the scramble through the jungle to reach this hidden gem.

This secluded beach is accessible only by foot through a jungle trail. However, during my visit, I noticed an unfortunate amount of litter scattered throughout the area. As a result, I would not recommend going through the trouble to reach this beach.
